IFTEC Successfully Completes Five-Yearly Lifeboat Davit and Winch Inspection at Duqm Port

IFTEC recently carried out the five-yearly inspection and 1.10 times proof load test for the free-fall lifeboat davit and winch arrangements at Duqm Port. The inspection was conducted in accordance with SOLAS Regulation III/20 and MSC.1/Circ.1277, in the presence of the class surveyor and flag administration.

The test was performed by an IFTEC authorized service inspector, who confirmed that the equipment is fit for purpose and subsequently issued certification. This successful inspection highlights IFTEC’s commitment to safety, compliance, and high-quality maritime services.
